DeskAway is an online software application for project management where a significant amount of collaboration is needed. An online system is especially useful where you have project participants who are geographically dispersed. Using email and other forms of asynchronous communications eliminates the need for many of the "all-hands" meetings that we see today.

DeskAway lends itself easily to this sort of asynchronous collaboration. All project information is held in a central repository ad accessed via you browser. When any changes are made in task or milestone assignments, project status, required personnel are notified by email. When they log in to the system they can see the changes that effect them. All project information is easily filtered to limit the view to particular people, statuses or tasks.

A rich set of project views, reports and charts are available to make reporting easy but robust. The software permits tracking of multiple projects and sharing of file and documents, calendars and contacts.

It includes a robust issue tracking component along with a team blog as an addition to the robust project communication.

The entire service is very affordable with pricing running from free for up to three projects to $99 per month for an unlimited number of projects.
